Assassin's Creed Reveals Bizarre Attack on Titan Event for Holiday Season

In a unexpected collaboration that challenges usual predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Uncovered

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the darkness." The plot introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine sect.

The mission centers on "peculiar trials and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses

The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Extra Features

Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an special katana together with multiple objects secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
