That it took until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a compliment to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over five decades.

It's challenging for their hitters to hold a record if not afforded the possibility.

Ultimately, the consequence of Australia conceding 330 was leader Alyssa Healy receiving an opportunity to create her most recent brilliance.

Once she was out Australia required another 66 at run per delivery - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the belief to achieve that now," continued Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, if necessary, we know we can do it."

That comment will be the ultimate thing Australia's opponents at this championship should hear.

In recent days a belief they will win from any position has become more firm - this triumph succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at a certain moment.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a meeting with traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.
