The Hero Shooter Marvel Rivals Unabashedly Introduces its Fresh Lady Loki Skin

While some may label Marvel Rivals as an imitation of Overwatch, developer NetEase deserves praise for finding creative ways to appeal to its unabashedly thirsty audience. Enter Lady Loki, a brand-new outfit for the current Strategist hero Loki, providing players a faithful to the comics depiction of the Norse deity.

Not Hela, But Loki

Despite some predictions and fears, the previously teased Lady Loki costume is not a skin for Hela. Instead, it is a complete reskin of Loki himself, complete with fresh voice lines. Based on the official preview, Lady Loki retains all of Loki's core abilities: his projectile attack, Deception, and Doppelgänger. The only change is her new appearance, designed to appeal to an audience more than ready to spend their in-game currency.

A Look and Sound in Action

Opening the Door to Possibilities

With NetEase has opened the door with this gender-swapped skin for Loki, the Marvel Rivals community is already speculating about similar swaps. Popular ideas now include:

• Gwenpool as the forthcoming Deadpool.
• Thor's alter ego Jane Foster as the God of Thunder.
• Gwen Stacy as Spider-Woman.

One pressing query remains: Does NetEase have the courage to introduce less mainstream alternate versions, such as former hero Sharon Ventura as She-Thing? That will probably depend on player requests!
